this is a show about the crazy life experiences of Jimmi Seiter.

Jimmi is the co-host and subject of the show. Ash Seiter, his son, forces him to sit in an 8 x 8 box for hours on end, drilling him with endless questions and trying to squeeze every last detail out of him for the sake of music history.

But who the hell is Jimmi Seiter???

JIMMI WORKED IN THE MUSIC BUSINESS FROM 1966 TO 1983.

He wore a lot of hats during this time. Musician, road manager, manager, engineer and producer.

He worked with many different artists and producers. THE BYRDS, THE FLYING BURRITO BROS, FLO & EDDIE, THE RUNAWAYS, DAVID CASSIDY, ROCKY BURNETTE, TERRY MELCHER, KIM FOWLEY, BRIAN WILSON, DOBIE GRAY, GRAM PARSONS, JIM MORRISON and ALICE COOPER to name a few.

HE WAS THERE FOR ARGUABLY THE MOST CONSEQUENTIAL of TIMES IN MODERN MUSIC HISTORY WITH SOME of THE MOST INFLUENTIAL ARTISTS OF THE DAY.

He has thousands of incredible firsthand accounts of events involving very familiar names in the pantheon of rock 'n roll. Most of his stories have never been told before publicly.

Check out jimmi’s Spotify playlist of some of the songs and albums which he worked on.

Though rarely credited, Jimmi often played percussion in studio, recorded overdubs, worked as an associate producer, or assisted engineers in addition to his road manager duties.

While not a complete list by any means, it’s a good start. One day Spotify may have gems like The Flying Burrito Brothers’ album Airborne, or anything from the band Mother Hen, or Rocky Burnette’s full albums, but for now this will have to suffice.

What about Ash? What’s his deal?

Ash Seiter is the producer and host of the show.

Ash is Jimmi’s son. Before starting the podcast, Ash worked for several years on the road as a driver, merchandiser, tour and artist manager. In 2020, he co-founded Terminal Birds Management and continues to work with artists in the US and Canada.

We hope you enjoy the show!
